What to Bring

You will need lots of swimwear, t-shirts, shorts and sandals. Don’t forget your camera, and bring sunscreen – the Caribbean sun is very intense. Slacks and sundresses are appropriate for all area restaurants. Mainly, be sure to come with a big smile and a fun, adventuresome spirit.

The Bahamas are in the same time zone as the Eastern United States – three hours later than California.

Dialing instructions are the same as U.S. – in and out. Also, if you want to use your cell phone while in the Bahamas, you may want to check with your cell provider to make sure your “international dialing” feature is activated before leaving the U.S.

Each of the five guest rooms has a full, adjoining private bathroom, individual climate controller, flat screen TV with dedicated HD DirecTV receiver, and dedicated sound system with XM Radio. After you vacate your room in the mornings, the housekeeper will clean and refresh your room daily.

Air Travel

The main commercial airport for New Providence/Nassau is Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS), which is served by most major airlines. Ground transportation time from the airport to Paraíso is about forty‑five minutes.

Air travel via McDonald Aviation’s Gulfstream 550 to Nassau from California takes about 4 hours, 45 minutes. The return trip to California takes about 5 hours, 15 minutes.
